Before your treatment, you will be given a local anesthetic to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. Blood is then drawn from your arm (just like a routine blood draw). Your blood is then placed into a centrifuge, where the growth factors are separated from the red blood cells. The entire procedure takes approximately 30 minutes from start to finish.
