    What causes cellulite?

    Cellulite is caused by a number of different factors. Under the skin, fibrous bands pull the skin downward toward the muscle below. Between the muscle and skin are fat cells.

      What should I expect during an EMTONE treatment?

      EMTONE is a short treatment that takes 12-15 minutes per area. You will have a grounding pad placed on your back to ensure the radiofrequency energy is safe. The EMTONE device is then glided over the areas you want to treat. 

      As the EMTONE handpiece is moved over your skin, the temperature of your tissues increases and you’ll feel a warm sensation. Many patients compare this heating sensation to a hot stone massage. The device is designed to ensure the treatment is safe, including an automatic shut-off feature that stops the treatment from becoming too hot or uncomfortable. At the same time, there is an intense vibration as the pressure treatment is applied. Most patients find the treatment to feel comfortable, even relaxing.

      How long will it take to see results after EMTONE treatments?

      To achieve optimal results, we recommend a series of four treatments performed over a period of several weeks. 

      EMTONE results don’t appear immediately because the body achieves them naturally with the boost in collagen and elastin, and the loss of small fat pockets and metabolic waste.
